SO COOL! I loved it there and can't wait to go back.
Brain rock...at least that's what I called it.
I've decided this is my "You can trust me" photo...either that or it would be great to add a speech bubble.A lazy-boy with a view.A tad blurry, but here's me with the green rocks! It didn't feel like we had climbed that high, but we did pretty dang good.
FINE FOOD was a bit of an exaggeration, but we definitely had an appetite.

Capitol Reef - Day 1

If you look closely you can see my friend in the center of the pictures, gives you some idea of the scale of those rocks.

So when we got to our hotel in Capitol Reef we found a cute little friend in a basket with the shampoo and conditioner. We swiftly christened him Herman. He rocks.
Now for a sad story...We took Herman to the Goosenecks the next day and were taking his picture when he blew off the cliff. We really did miss him the rest of the trip.
